This song had different version, one of them was made by Pat Boone who got to superpass the original one, something very common during that time due to racial problems. Other record broken for this song was becoming in the first black record which had an important amount of plays on radio stations, not only for black listeners, but also for white ones. Singer like Elvis Presley and Elton John included this song. As Richard Little as the song was inducted into the Legends and Songwriters of Hall of Fame.
