The Trashmen were one of the most popular bands from 60s. The one was formed by Tony Andreason, Dal Winslow, Bobi Reed and Mark Andreason. Surfin’ Bird is one of their most remarkables singles which was released in 1963 and gave the title to their entire album. This song was used as a cover in the war film Full Metal Jacket, directed by Stanley Kubrick and starred Matthew Modine, VIncent D’Onofrio and Adam Baldwin. Last year, the band released a new album titled Teen Trot: Live At Ellsworth.
