Summertime BLues was released on June 11th, 1958 by Eddie Cochran. Twenty-two years later, it was used on the movie Caddyshack, a comedy film starrring Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight and Michael O’Keefe. The song has been ranked on the position #77 on the 100 Greatest Guitar Tracks by Q Magazine. Some artists o bands who have used it as a cover are: Alan Jackson (Who I Am album), Olivia Newton-Jon (Clearly Love album), The Beach Boys (Surfin’ Safari album) and Cheech Marin (Born in East L.A. album).
