In spite the fact that the song was not very popular at the beginning. When it was re-released in 1972 got to reach many peak positions around the world. It was number one at Cash Box in US and Canada, number two at Billboard Magazine and number nineteen at United Kingdom charts. The singer, composer and guitarist of the band, Justin Hayward wrote the song when he was nineteen, however there is a controversy about that because an UK Magazine announced in 1990 that the band bought the lyrics from an Italian band called The Jellyroll in 1966. Days of Future Passed was the second studio album with the London Festival Orchestra. This one was remastered including a deluxe edition two years ago. The band will be on UK/European Tour during September and October. Some cities where they will be are: Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford, London, Oxford, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Olso and Frankfurt.

Nights in white satin,
Never reaching the end,
Letters I’ve written,
Never meaning to send

Beauty Id always missed
With these eyes before,
Just what the truth is
I can’t say anymore

cause I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Oh.., how, I love you

Gazing at people,
Some hand in hand,
Just what I’m going thru
They can understand

Some try to tell me
Thoughts they cannot defend,
Just what you want to be
You will be in the end

And I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Oh…, how, I love you
Oh…, how, I love you

Nights in white satin,
Never reaching the end,
Letters I’ve written,
Never meaning to send

Beauty Id always missed
With these eyes before,
Just what the truth is
I can’t say anymore

cause I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Oh…, how, I love you
Oh…, how, I love you

cause I love you,
Yes, I love you,
Oh…, how, I love you
Oh…, how, I love you.
