One Week was the song that made internationally popular to the Canadian rock band, Barenaked Ladies, also known as BNL. The one made part of their fifth album, Stunt, which was released on July 7th, 1998. During that tine, the famous guitarist of the band, Kevin Hearn, cannot join to the Stunt tour because he was diagnosed with leukemia. For that reason, he was replaced by Chris Brown and Greg Kurstin temporarily. Last year, Barenaked Ladies released a children album titled Snacktime! which was complement of a book written with artwork by Kevin Hearn. This material was also the last work of vocalist Steven Jay Page who left the band on February, 2009. On December, 2009, the band will be performing in Vail, Co (12/12/09) and Biloxi, MS (12/19/09) in the United States. Currently the band is working on its upcoming album.

Girl I’m gonna Miss You gave the title to the biggest successuful material by the Germany group Milli Vanilli. The song reached the peak position at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 and was very popular to the rest of the world. The album, with other songs like Baby Don’t Forget My Number and Blame It On The Rain, made them to win a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1990. This material was released on March 7, 1989. People remember this group because the their producer, Frank Farian, declared that their singers, Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan didn’t sing any of the singles into this album. After that, the Grammy was withdrawn few days later. Rob Pilatus was found dead due to a drug abuse in 1998.
