I Like to Move It is now so popular since Madagascar movie use it into its two sequels. The song was released in 1994 by Reel 2 Real featuring The Mad Stuntman. It received certified gold in France and Germany for more than 400,000 in selling besides of a certified silver in UK. In spite of the fact that the song also was a hit in 1994 and stayed on the top 10 in almost European Charts, on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 I Like to Move only reached the peak position #89. The last album from Reel 2 Real was two year after. However the duo released some other singles like Jazz It Up and Are You Ready For Some More in 1996 and After the Rain in 1997.
