Build Me Up Buttercup is considered the third most important hit of the British soul band, The Foundations. The song has been used for many artists and bands. The last singer who used it was Jason Mrazon his 2008 tour concerts. It also was used on the film Luggage of the Gods!, the 1983 American comedy movie starred by Mark Stolzenberg, Gabriel Barre and Gwen Ellison. The Foundation was active from 1967 to 1970. During the whole career the band released seven albums like: Best Of, Back to the Beat, Digging The Foundations and Rocking The Foundations.
