Kokomo was not only a number one hit in United States but also in Australia. The song was used as a soundtrack on the movie Cocktail starring Tom Cruise, Bryan Brown, Elisabeth Shue, Gina Gershon and Kelly Lynch.  The soundtrack was featured Mike Love and Carl Wilson on lead vocals. This single received a certified silver in France for more than 200,000 on sales and certified platinum by more than 1,000,000 on sales. The CD also contained the song Tutti Frutti by Little Richard and Hippy Hippy Shake by The Georgia Stallites. This year, they have released an U.S. singles collection which is available since June 10th.
