Call Me is one of the super hit in 80s. The song was first performed by Blondie. The one was included into her album American Gigolo the soundtrack record of this American movie starring Richard Gere and Lauren Hutton. The single sold more than one million copies and received certified Gold by the RIAA. Besides that, it makes part of the list of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Call Me has also been  used as a cover in films like Quantum Leap and Bride of Chucky. The song was in the top 10 charts in other countries like Canada, Norway, UK and New Zealand. Blondie was on the 8th Annual TV Land Award where she performed two songs and received the Icon Award yesterday.
