A Holly Jolly Christmas was performing by Burl Ives during the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer special. The song was incorporated into the album Have A Holly Jolly Christmas released in 1965. It was first recorded by The Quinto Sisters. Also, it has been related  to the singer Johnny Marks who was very popular for his another Christmas songs like: I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. On the other hand, Burl Ives was an actor and a American music singer. He released more than fifty albums. Some of them are: Christmas by the Bay (1977), Christmas at the White House (1972), Sweet, Sad and Salty (1968), On the Beach at Waikiko (1964) and Christmas Eve with Burl Ives (1957).
