The B-52’s is an American rock band former in 1976 by Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, Cindy Wilson and Keith Strickland. Love Shack is considered their signature song. The one was well-known all over the world. In fact it was a number one hit on Billboard Top 40 Charts and received a certified Gold by RIAA. The single was ranked at #40 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of the 80s, while the Rolling Stone ranked at #243 on their 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Love Shack was included into the fifth album of the band released on June, 1989. Last year, they released a new album titled Funplex. On this summer, The B-52s will be performing at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
